Joylynn Lewis - Piano, Composition
Joylynn Lewis graduated from Hillsdale College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition/Piano. For the past ten years she has accompanied soloists/instrumentalists, as well as performed for musical theater productions and weddings. In addition she has composed original works for varying instruments/voice including Concerto for Bass Trombone and Orchestra. She is experienced with Finale music notation software, and is currently working on a project arranging and transcribing music.
She uses a unique method of teaching which allows the student to understand the piano, learn music theory concepts by visual representation at any age, while at the same time advancing technically and reading music. She is able to adapt the lessons to each student's musical interests, personal creativity, and learning styles. She desires to instill a love and enjoyment of music that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.
Joylynn has openings for beginner to intermediate students, adult or child.
First lesson is free of charge- no obligations!
