Marissa Conniff is a singer, songwriter, and voice teacher. She is the frontwoman for Marissa & the Starter Packs and was a top 10 finalist in the Motown Museum’s Amplify the Sound of Detroit singing competition.
Marissa enjoys working with young singers, hobby singers, beginners, and musicians who want to increase their vocal ability. Lessons with Marissa are joyful, encouraging, and full of singing. All genres are welcomed and celebrated.

Lessons are taught for one hour at Oz’s Music in Ann Arbor. Students can expect to learn various warmups and exercises to refine their pitch, increase their range, find ease, and unlock joy within singing. Students also typically pick a song to focus on perfecting within lessons. Younger students may also encounter elements of Music Appreciation during lessons. Marissa believes in the importance of learning from other singers and genres.
